3.0

FMC (Charlotte): 3.25 (girl needed to realize freckles and red hair weren’t the end of the world. I also wished she would have put Chatham in his place at least once)
MMC (Chatham): 3 (I wanted to love him and his inner angst was great, but he treated Charlotte like actual dirt over and over because his parents didn’t love him? Come on)
💕: 3 (they were a great team and felt like real friends when Chatham’s head wasn’t 4 feet up his ass. The reveal of Chatham hiding the deal about conceiving an heir also could have been more satisfying…make him crawl, Charlie)
Plot: 3.75 (honestly loved this unbelievable marriage of convenience, bringing a decrepit estate back to life, falling in love plot, but wanted it to go even further)
🌶️: 4 (I mean he was a former sex worker - this was lost potential btw and never really discussed, even internally)
Writing: 3.5
