This book feels like a warm hug!

Clemmie is the daughter of rock star Ripp Harris and around the time of her birth, he had two other illegitimate daughters. The three mothers of Ripp's children ended up living together and raising the three girls together so they essentially they ended up like triplets and are super close.

Following Clemmie's break up with long-term boyfriend Len, she and her sisters Lil and Serena think it would be fun to do a break up spell, similar to what they used to do as children.

When a close family friend dies, Clemmie, who is used to long-term relationships decides that something needs to change and has a one-night stand with someone she meets at the wake, not realising that he is famous music artist, Theo Eliott.

They are thrust together again when they spend six weeks in a Northumberland cottage, as Serena works for Theo's record label and his album is two years late. Serena has enlisted Clemmie to keep an eye on him and ensure he is writing. Their feelings inevitably start to grow for one another but Clemmie carries a lot of trauma, especially about musicians, because of her father and ex-boyfriend.

There is such a great character development between the two together but also separately. I honestly felt like I didn't want to stop reading but at the same time, I didn't want to get to the end because I'd have to say goodbye to the characters.  Just wonderful.
