Bratva Butcher
by T.J. Maguire
Daddy Dimitri! I've been enjoying the heck out of this series and I love the Volkovs, especially their family dynamics. I love that their support for one another is on a next level that I haven't seen in many other books, especially in a mafia setting. They're a solid family and I've loved getting to know each and every one of them.
I wasn't sure about the pacing, but it worked for me, especially with the story and their relationship. It just worked so well.
I felt for Dimitri and he was still very much grieving over his wife that passed. And watching him go through the motions of moving on and not wanting to at the same time. That's unimaginable. Autumn was very realistic about everything and I loved that she managed to figure everything out so quickly. She was very observant.
Their bickering was so much fun and I loved all of it. Like children, really.
Because I read this series out of order, I'll definitely go back and start from book 1.
