For this being my first Sci-Fi read, I genuinely enjoyed this book. It’s a dual POV where the characters started off seperate and then met in the middle and THAT is when the book really started to pick up. This book was intense and was an excellent build up for a second book. 

There was just a hint of romance that was so perfect for this storyline as well although I am hoping it develops more in the next book because I am SHIPPING ALL OF IT. 

It always amazes me reading first person dual or multi-povs that are this well written because it’s almost like I AM the characters which allows me to really put myself into the book and man was I INTO IT. I had so much fun trying to picture everything 🥹

The characters were great. Sienna was fiery and rebellious but SMART and Jayla was just as fiery and also smart. They were so similar yet different and I loved them both. 

The ending? Left me dying to continue this story and see what happens next.

Thanks to AJ I will be adding YA Sci-Fi to my list of genres I like to read because again, this book was GOOD.
