Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

5.0

Re-reading this with my daughter, and rejoicing all over again at the sly humor, the sharply drawn characters, and the inevitability of true love. Of course, this is the happy ending Austen and her sister Cassandra never found in real life, which makes the happy marriages of their counterparts Lizzie and Jane all the more poignant.
