Holy heck the absolute feels of this one. GUHHH. So much action in this volume, so much utter angst and guilt and pain and complex emotional anguish, exploding in one huge climax. And I see now that
SpoilerBertolt's crying out for someone to find them is answered in Ymir's coming with them and saying that if they hadn't broke through the wall, she'd have never met Historia and would not have found herself. So in a sense, their violence and murder did good to at least one person and in that way, he's redeemed for her. Because aren't we only good people to the people who somehow help us? (re: Armin's morality) And if his actions resulted in good to one person, then that's the redemption you hold onto
