Sad to not have enjoyed this as much as the first one (but am still starting in on the 3rd!). I get that IQ goes through some shit in this book, and is processing all that in ways that are expressed pretty terribly, but so many times, I kept thinking, "But this isn't what this character would have done in book one! He's not like this!" So much of what he did was unreasonable, reactionary, and immature. The end was pretty great, but I still wasn't as enamored with him as a good guy as I had been (maybe that was the point?).
