Endeavour by Ralph Kern

I am going to have to give some serious thought as to why I enjoyed this book. The characters were undeveloped to the extent that the only distinguishing feature was their name. There were no character flaws in any of them. No conflict. In fact, there was barely any conflict in the plot until 90% of the way in. Then it was almost excruciating (including torture). Amazing far space locations were described but in no depth of detail whatsoever. It was like a frustrating roller coaster ride through time and space where everything just whizzed by before you had time to register what you were seeing. In a tearing hurry to get nowhere in particular. Great scope. Great ideas. Lots of potential. Seriously though, have another edit run through and resubmit to Amazon. Will read the next story by this author. I am sure he will be even better next time.
