Lore
by Alexandra Bracken
Loved it!
This book was everything that I love in YA...full of the standard tropes we all know and love. Lore is the last of her line. After her family was murdered, she decides to leave the life of a hunter of the Gods behind. After the patriarch of her newfound family dies, she’s drawn back into the world she escaped, encountering familiar faces during her journey.
The story progressed pretty quickly with things moving along at a rapid pace.. It’s easy enough to root for Lore given her bloody beginnings and sarcastic wit. The story contains a few of Greek mythology’s most popular figures.
I highly recommend this book to those who appreciate mythology and/or YA fiction.
