Through a Glass, Darkly by Donna Leon

2.0

I'm a long time reader of Donna Leon's books and this one was very disappointing. The story was light on a murder and crime solving. Ms Leon has always included issues about the environment and political corruption in her books, but as a backdrop or driver for the story. In a shortened version, this book would have been a summary in one of her other stories. That is my biggest problem with this book - it is a lightweight story lacking the substance usually found in prior books.
