Space Junk by Sara L. Hudson

Amazing! I love this book (and probably this series, I'm already claiming it!).

This was unexpected. I did hear this had a similar vibe to The Kiss Quotient because Jackie Lee is a genius and passionate about her work at NASA. I was a bit adamant despite the raving reviews because of the cover. I avoid being judgmental with book covers especially in adult romance, but this is just not my jam.

Moving on from that cover, this book is delicious and very interesting. It's easy to get into and the plot was smooth flowing. I loved how it wasn't too dramatic and there were times I thought the conflict would be miscommunication, but I'm glad that even though it was present, it didn't drag on too much.

Rose West is such an interesting character and I can't wait to read her book! I loved the humor and just everything about it overall. Although, I was not the biggest fan of the play by play of Jackie's work because it was too much for my brain to understand -- I'm not well-versed with science (and space stuff).

Nonetheless, I enjoyed it a lot and I highly recommend it! It's definitely one of my favorite books of 2021. I will continue on with the series but not immediately because I want to savor the stories/world more, especially since the fourth book isn't even out yet.
