I was weary reading Shatter Me, especially with the direction the book decided to take.
But I knew from the getgo that Warner would be my favourite character. And after reading this novella? I want to marry the guy.
Reading from his perspective was so eye-opening that I'm a little sad he isn't the sadistic, heartless villain I thought him to be.
But it also makes me incredibly happy and proud to see his development, to see his struggles, to see him for who he is. And boy am I speechless.
He's probably one of the best written villains ever in Shatter Me. But he's an absolutely stunning hero in Destroy Me.
