The plot of this book may have been far-fetched, but it was enjoyable and engaging. Charlie and Zander were likable and well-written. My only issue with them was that their relationship felt a lot more platonic than romantic. Also, I'm not sure how I feel about Maddox. I think the situation with him could have been handled better. 
I need to talk about how messed up that ending was. I understand they signed a contract, but they still should have found a way to sue the show, and Zander should have fired Gabe. What they did was terrible! Those kids almost died multiple times because of them, and they faced no consequences!
Still, I thought this was a solid contemporary debut!
