Hunger: A Memoir of (My) Body by Roxane Gay

challenging emotional reflective
An engaging and candid memoir of Hunger in relation to food, sure, but so much more. Hunger for belonging, for a gentle relationship with one's body, for systemic change and acceptance, for growth and overcoming trauma. I liked the format of shorter chapters and reflections. I found so much to be relatable while also uniquely and only Roxane Gay's personal story.
