Addie was one of the fiercest main characters I've ever read. She was abused and could've felt broken, but she didn't. Her determination to stay hopeful, and fight for herself was inspiring. I've never felt so drawn to someone. And Beckett saw that in her. He needed her as much as she needed him. I loved how the relationship was built on trust and friendship. It made the foundation so strong for what they had to endure. Easy 5 star read.
