Even though this is a book about death, it still manages to be upbeat and lighthearted (most of the time, not saying I didn't shed any tears). While I've never been to a death cafe, this book feels like the essence of what death cafes are trying to do - make talking about death more approachable and less grim. This was such an endearing and enjoyable read.
