What do you do when the wife you thought was gone came back?

Luke had spent the last 9 months in a haze of despair, grief and booze after losing his beloved Sal in an accident. His family and band mates have tried to pull him up but he cares for nothing but his missing wife - presumed by everyone to be dead.

When a disoriented woman with amnesia matching Sal’s description shows up, Luke is understandably sceptical. But when she’s confirmed as his missing wife, now very much alive, Luke is elated. He has a long road ahead of him making his wife fall back in love with him whilst navigating the guilt of the events leading up to the accident.

This was a fantastic read. Luke just adored his wife and I really felt his devastation in losing her and not wanting to move on with his life, disbelieving that she was dead despite the chances of her survival being slim to none.

Well, in this case the chance was high as Sal has returned and don’t worry, there is a backstory as to why she was MIA for 9 months. This story also forms the side plot with Sal still being in very real danger.

The story was well written and engaging with endearing characters that I can’t wait to read about when their stories are told.
I did wonder if a certain troublemaking redhead would get a story seeing as she redeemed herself a little and seemed like a sweetheart underneath the pain she causes. And I’m glad and intrigued to see that she does!

Oh! And there’s a lovely prologue that you can download after reading this which tells of Luke and Sal’s backstory on how they first met. It’s so sweet!
