Girls of Little Hope by Sam Beckbessinger, Dale Halvorsen

4.0

This was such a pleasant surprise! I have to admit I'm definitely one to judge a book by its cover as well as be apprehensively skeptical about YA. Both of these things occurred with Girls of Little Hope and I've never been happier to be wrong. This book delivers horror in spades with great characters, a good build-up and an awesome reveal that isn't immediately obvious to the reader. I enjoyed how the story unfolded and only really knocked a star off due to the ending losing a little bit of momentum for me. High recommend to all horror fans, don't sleep on this underrated book!
