Gabriel and Skye’s story is slow and sweet. She’s in back in town for a work holiday and takes a job being Gabriel’s nanny. Gabriel would do anything for his daughter, and he makes that very obvious. He’s a bit grumpy, but a total marshmallow at the same time. They are drawn to one another right away, but sort of skate around it, and deny it when others bring it up. Skye isn’t sure how she’s going to navigate feelings, when she’s planning on leaving, but part of her now wants to stay. Another Bassett brother bites the dust.
