I went into this book not having read the description of the story and liked it even more because of that. I liked that there was an element of magical realism mixed with very real/raw situations. I loved the storyline between the women of Molly's family and their history. I also enjoyed the love interest, but felt like it was definitely secondary to the more impactful story of the women. I will definitely read Kerry Lonsdale again, and would recommend this book to anyone looking for a solid women's fiction read.
