The Third Day, The Frost by John Marsden

5.0

The war continues and the group of teens do their best to survive while recking havoc for the enemy, but at what cost?

This story was fantastic and heartbreaking at the same time!

This book has:
*great elements of Australian lifestyle and childhood which lightens up the darkness of the fighting near death scenes.
*good character development. Each book adds another layer or depth to the characters so that you understand them more.
*an accurate representation of teenagers with their responses and daily troubles. Nothing seems ‘put on’ or dramatized.

I recommend this book for anyone who has started the series to get the full affect.
