EXCELLENT!
This is a quick read but boy - did this one make my blood boil. I wanted to crawl inside the book and choke a bitch aka the mother Sylvie. This short novella definitely delivers and it delivers with a punch that almost made me throw my kindle across my bedroom. Any author that is able to do this, to invoke such strong feelings inside of me is definitely worth of 5 stars, buying every book of the author and becoming insanely obsessed over the author (not in a weird way okay..lol).
Miller and her estranged mother Sylvie decide to go on a vacation to talk things out. Even though Miller's fiance is against it, Miller insists on going. Sylvie takes them to a cabin deep in the woods. It is snowing, and the weather forecast predicts a heavy snow storm. When both arrive at the cabin, Miller is confronted with her past, and things quickly spiral out of control. Are Miller and Sylvie able to get past their differences? And talk things out?
