 I went into this expecting 90s slasher horror, but then it jumped into cult escape and survival. I feel like there is so much that was missed out on, verses so much that was involved too much. It gave more “I know what you did last summer” than ghost face to me, with all of the friends dying one by one….idk. Wasn’t my favorite book of the month but it wasn’t horrible. The FMC was not much of a final girl, and she got maybe 2 seconds of a badass final girl moment with the Assassins tea pot.
