Run on Red by Noelle W. Ihli
3.0
dark tense fast-paced

Thank you to Simon Maverick and Libro.fm for letting me listen and enjoy a copy of this book.

I’m definitely on a Noelle W. Ihli kick currently thanks to Simon Maverick having most of her novels available and I am a fan of mystery thrillers. Now for me, Run on Red was okay. I still don’t understand that title so that kept throwing me off. For once I’m going to complain that the action started off too soon, I feel like we were missing some background info so o didn’t even really connect to our two main characters. It did induce fear though. Our main characters were brave, I don’t think I would have be able to do what they did and survive. The thing that was inconsistent for me was the battery life of the phones lasting so long when it was so low and also a body would absolutely be decomposed in 3 years especially with all the critters eating at it, also I don’t think there would be that many critters still around. Or a smell that bad but what do I know.
I still enjoyed the read and will read more by this author. I’d recommend it to others as well.
