Emilia and Wrath must work alongside the other princes of Hell in order to settle the unrest simmering in the seven circles. In a dangerous game of intrigue, they face werewolves, vampires, gods and the fabled Feared. Emilia’s world threatens to crash down around her once more as she learns the truth of who she is.

Hands down, this is my favorite series so far this year, and it will be difficult to top. The pacing of these books and the banter between Wrath and Emilia as well as the princes are impeccable. The romance is spicy and sweet, and I adored the final book as much as the first two.

I thought throwing in every manner of dark creature might be a bit much, but it is done so well that all of those worlds I often think of as separate felt seamless. I enjoyed some of the perspective switching between characters who set the original curse into motion, but most of all I appreciated the opportunity to hear more from the other princes because of the comedy that brings.

The only thing that irked me in this book was the use of a few anachronisms like “Own their shit,” that just felt out of place to me. Otherwise, chef’s kiss. I am in love.
