✨Rating & Review✨: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Magical Revolution will NOT be televised. I don’t think y’all understand how much I NEEDED this book in my life. Who would ever expect a boy from Helena, Alabama would grow up to be one of the most powerful conjurers the magical world has ever seen? This book is full of diversity, Black experience, family, love, betrayal, and most of all, belonging. When you just want to be loved and accepted, you’ll trust those around you who tell you exactly what you want to hear. But what happens when they turn out to be the ones who hurt you most? Did I mention that everybody is BLACK?! On another note, @jalynemilhall DID HIS THANG narrating this book. I loved every second of his interpretation and the life he brought to these characters. I need a minute to recover from this book. I’ll be thinking about this book for the rest of my life.
