I ate this up romance wise, but I’ve got a couple issues. First, I don’t think the kidnapping storyline was done justice. The diary entries were random and could’ve been taken out altogether if we weren’t gonna get more of the kidnapping story. Second, we just glossed over the fact that Lonan leaked the story so she would have to stay with him, which is a little kidnappy to me for someone who was literally just escaping her kidnapper of 20 years. Third, I was not happy to see that he was being an idiot ie letting other women set on his lap when out or be photographed with him so of course Birdie thought he was with these women then the ding dong brings the trench coat lady to the gala!? Come on now, how thick can he get.
All this to say I still enjoyed the book haha I thought it was sweet the way they remembered things from when they were kids.
