The black and white art work made the time setting of the story come alive. A great way to introduce this history of athletics and protest. The was very informative regarding Mr. Smith's upbringing and also the activism of Black college athletes. Usually when this event is discussed, it focuses primarily on the Olympics and neglects the greater struggle of the Black Athlete and citizen.
