Agatha Raisin and the Busy Body by M.C. Beaton

After the dreadful effort of There goes the Bride this new installment of MC Beatons Agatha Raisin series is only mildly better .
I've read all the Agatha Raisin stories from the Quiche of Death onwards and in my opinion they have got progressively worse.
They are good for a quick read but I have found that they are just becoming more more badly written with the same words being repeated far to often and the story themselves are just ridiculously far fetched.I know its supposed to be lighthearted but without spoilers some things are just plain silly .
Having said that though there are moments during these stories when you can't help but laugh out loud and I still have some hope they will get better again (fingers crossed).I love Agatha Raisin as a character but something is definately lacking i cant quite put my finger on it.Ill persevere because ive grown to love the characters but please MC Beaton take note ..Quality is always better than quantity .
