The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

holy shit, this book was the most heart wrenching yet loveable book i've ever read. the last 15-ish chapters had me sobbing. and i mean chest racking, hardcore sobbing. worst part? something bad would happen, i would cry, then everything would be okay again. then bam something else bad. and repeat the cycle. i couldn't put the book down for 5+ hours straight!! this story includes the memorable heart ripping sadness that i've been looking for in a book. not like i wanted any of the bad stuff to happen, but it all felt so natural. i felt as if i aged along with evelyn, and i probably learned a few lessons from her. i will remember this book forever, and i will probably always compare others to this. i cannot wait to someday read it again.
