True, it's no Middlesex, but I loved this book in its own right. Granted this may be at least partially because the undergraduate atmosphere was extremely familiar, down to the discussions of Derrida, so the novel easily struck a chord with me. Would consider sending a copy to each if the members of my undergrad thesis seminar group.
