I feel like 4 stars is kiiind of generous but look I'm really harsh haha.. sorry. Soo I really liked this book, it was full of plotting and scheming and backstabbing, there were some great plot twists that had me gasping in shock and horror, such supportive characters to the MC, ugh I honestly just loved it. The one thing that annoyed me was when Candace kept on saying such bitchy stuff.. like there's no other word for it, she was just kind of.. stupid? And I really didn't like her in those parts where she just totally lost her temper and then was like "ohhhh oopsies I'm so sorry guys a lot is going on right now 🥺🥺" like sure but is that really a good enough excuse?? Hmmmm.. not really but I guess I forgive her and now I really want to know what happens next in the world. This book was better and worse than the first in the series (different aspects) so I'm giving it the same rating haha (also I ugly cried in some parts idk I was emotional and the book really wasn't that deep I don't think but yeah 👍)
