This one is such a hard one to write because I love this book. I love how it’s written; the way it flows and the introduction of new information. I love the characters and the premise of this book, a new take on dragons. There’s such heart in this story. I had wondered why Kaida was so…broken, why her timid nature around Eklos hadn’t already evolved into hatred, but Belharnt explains that. I’m hoping that the other questions (problems?) I had with the ending are answered in the next book because I most definitely will be reading the next one!! I can’t wait!!
