not gonna rate this because, to me this series is barely real. but leaving a review on this one because it is SUCH a ginormous pet peeve of mine when authors who do not speak a language have their characters speaking the “language” that they only write out in english. like babes… its not ur business then! so other than that, i did not care at all about the weird military book he was writing, and i dont feel like including the passages added anything to the story. that being said i did enjoy the chemistry between these two characters a lot more than the first book. i wish the book had more sexy over all, and like a lot of other readers, i wish that the feminism in this book had any more nuisance that made it believable as dialogue, and that it was not as often delivered in chunks in the book by the “wise” only black character with a name LMAO. did not understand her weird crime ring thing, like i felt that got way too much page time and it was so dumb like its simply did not fit into the ending of the book and i think brings up questions the author is not prepared to answer in her english language rom com. anyway did i kind of eat it up? mostly! there were some leftovers on the plate tho. really glad the shit jokes were limited to the prologue i will say that. also wtf was with the cheese thing… so many parts of the story that i felt could have been dedicated to.. anything else at all or..
