Evenings & Weekends moves with a frantic energy around its expanding vortex of characters on a single weekend in London.
Although we could have forgone some of the minor character POVs in favor of deeper exploration into the motivations leading up to the somewhat rushed conclusion, McKenna does a superb job creating a very real world where people are coping with trauma both old and new.
