I thoroughly enjoyed this in a way I haven't enjoyed a typical romance in a long time. It was well written and very nicely paced. Every time I thought it was getting predictable, the books surprised me by the direction it decided to take instead. 

The only reason it's not a 5 star is because there were some moments I was bored. I understand why those moments were there but it took away some of the enjoyment for me. Otherwise, this was a very solid read. I'm excited to pick up more books from this author.
