This was a decent story, it would have gotten a higher rating from me if not for the writing style. One of my main issues was the flowery descriptions. They detract greatly from the story, adding nothing but distraction. Then, this is a story that would have been better off written in first person, I don’t think the author did a very good job with third person. Perspectives got bungled and the phrase “she thinks xyz” and “then she thinks xyz” is so often reused that it makes less and less sense to have third person as it goes on.
