Fuck this book is a good. The series as a whole as well. This one really is a mediation of the social constructs of society and how they chew people up and spit them out, and people's different reactions to that. More interpersonal than economic or physical forces.

Also Edith crushing the shit out of the Duke is morally questionable but Fuck was I all for it. What does that make me? A somewhat misandrist Lesbian
