Wow... just wow... I laughed, I cried, I did all the things. It really speaks to Suzanne Collins's storytelling abilities that she can create an entire world that feels so different on the surface but feels eerily similar to our own when you delve into the complexity of the politics and characters. I also love how she made it clear that while Haymitch wasn't the linchpin of the rebellion that followed the 75th Hunger Games, he was one of the previous tributes who helped pave the way for Katniss to be the Mockingjay. As always, Collins does a phenomenal job with symbolism and the consistency of those symbols, not just in the book, but also in terms of the entire series. Also, I would like to to note that Jefferson White did an awesome job narrating the audiobook. He had a lot of great emotion, and I appreciated that he didn't overdo the voice change on the female characters.
