The Watchman by Robert Crais
5.0
First of all, lets get this one straight.. I'm in LOVE with Joe Pike..
Ok...
I don't know how, nor why.. But this is my first reading by Robert Crais. And I loved every minute of it..
It wasn't boring, I couldn't guess where the events are heading..
I wished that Elvis Cole participation was more detailed.. I really enjoyed his lines and presence. He have a great sense of humour that could have added a lot to the amusing of this novel.
For me, Joe Pike's character was perfect.. I felt sad for him when he thinks about his past.. I admired the way he react to his own emotions and the way he hide it..
I still don't get the reason why he wear his fucking sunglasses all day long.. I was kinda hoping he would take them off eventually, but he didn't /:
I will definitely read the rest series that featured Joe Pike, and I will also start the one with Elvis Cole as the main character.
