Unwrap Him by Nyla K.

5.0

HOLY CRAP!!!

There are not enough words that I can say for this book. Nyla K really hits the one out of the park because this book is all the holiday spice that you could ever need, wrapped up in a beautiful Christmas Bow!

James has been raising Jesse since he was 2 after his parents die in a tragic accident. Jesse has been harboring feelings for James since he was a teenager. Can their love flourish over the Christmas Holiday or will it be as cold as the Maine winters?

I freaking loved the development of this story. It may be a novella but it certainly does not feel like one. The conflict (both internal and external) for both characters is so wonderfully developed and played out on the pages that you easily get sucked in and forget you are reading.

Also, just like with any Nyla K story, you get SPICE (and I'm not talking like a dash, I'm talking full blown dump the entire spice cabinet into the pot and then steal your neighbors to add spice!) The coming together of James and Jesse may not be clean or pretty from the beginning but there is one thing that is not lacking and that is the chemistry between the two characters and the love the both have for one another (both the forbidden, taboo love and the love of a father-figure/guardian and son).

Add this to your TBR (especially if you were someone who read this in the anthology last year) because this is certainly not a story you are going to want to miss this Christmas season!
