This is by far the BEST one in the series. I forgot how fun and exciting Darren’s trials are, and how many emotions each one makes me feel! You learn so much about the vampires, their world and values were so interesting to read again. The ending was a nice plot twist, and really was the cherry on top of a perfect book sundae. It was a nicely wrapped present for me, one that makes me appreciate the build up in Vampire Mountain so much more than I had originally.
