Is it possible to have a comfort horror novel?
The vibes of Frog & Toad meet The Most Dangerous Game when Eamon discovers his favorite book characters are very very real. He and his friends, one equally enamoured by the book and the other not so much, are invited to celebrate Barley Day - a holiday ripped from the pages of their favorite childhood novel. Meeting the very characters he grew up admiring seems like a dream come true, but soon Eamon and friends realize these characters aren't as Winnie the Pooh-esque as they were in the children's book he remembers...
A wonderful read that inspired me to buy the book on Kindle, in paperback, in paperback again when it gained illustrations on Amazon (jealous of anyone who managed to grab a Suntup copy), and then once again as a gift for a friend - I can't recommend it enough!
