After completing six of crows I picked it up half heartedly or simply convinced myself to read it as it’s duology not trilogy(as I often find the second books not up to the mark as first ones). Thanks god I read it. Otherwise I would’ve missed the better part.
I gave six of crows 5/5 stars but crooked kingdom deserves 10/5 stars. What a story, what an ending!!
How, like seriously how did u came up with such ideas, such plots, such characters? I wonder if there’s anything any part of these 2 books which is not up to the mark.
I wish I could read all day every day infact through out the day.
The six characters, each one of them are just the best. Initially my sister asked me “so who did you like most?” And I still wonder after reading both the books. How can I love one more than the other, I even liked the side characters as well🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
Funny thing is I have a problem of visualising what I’m reading but with these 2 books my habit reached it’s highest. I could see Inej fighting, Nina clenching fists, moving hands in arc, Jess fidgeting, wylan blushing, and boy I can see kazz;umm actually his crow cane and I love it 😍.
This book starts when 5of crows were trying to rescue Inej and within first 20% they did it. I thought what the hell what will happen in the next 80%? Are they going to play this kidnapped and rescued 5 more times😜😜🤣🤣? I was cursing for making it a duology and not a stand alone book. But Leigh seems wiser to do so .. how the hell somebody’s able to put so much adventure in a book? The plannings, the emotions, the character buildings, the execution of plans , the failures and success OMG no one can do a better justice than what’s already there.
Lots and lots of love to u Leigh. Please keep creating magic like this duology
