Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell

Wow! I honestly don't know what to say. I'm still hung up over the ending...ah I can't believed that happened, ah!

Ok so parts I didn't like...
So I always feel it's sad when you hate the main character, but well I found it really hard to like Scarlett. She was just a little to well self centered, she thought only of herself, wouldn't open up to anyone, was greedy, and couldn't get over Ashely. For crying out loud he's married and there are many other men and much better ones at that. Yea... E en a thousand pages later and still don't really like her.

Ok now what I loved about the book.
First of all I just like fell in love with Rhett, he was the only person able to bring Scarlett down a notch. Many people might think him and gentlemen, but I think he was like the gentleman of all gentlemen.
I also loved the time period written in, you got to see how the world effected the south. How it effect Scarlett and well everyone. One day they are happy and rich, the next barley hanging on with only their pride to guid them. Scarlett had to make many choices on how reconstruction would affect her and the people she most cared out.

All in all I'm like in love with this book, just a tad frustrated on how it ended.
