This was such a captivating read.  I loved the three timelines - Altha, Violet, and Kate were strong characters & it was a joy to see them triumph over their troubles and trauma.  The petty part of me rather enjoyed what happened to Frederick!  I loved the way that the magical aspects were woven in to the story and how each of the three women discovered and used their talents.

This did start out slow but I was soon hooked and didn’t want to put it down.  However, I would suggest reading the trigger warnings before reading this.
