Mary Boleyn: The Mistress of Kings by Alison Weir

3.0

Too long and protracted. There is a significant lack of primary documents to support a biography of Mary Boleyn, so this had rather more conjecture than I'm used to seeing from Weir. It is interesting, no doubt. But Mary Boleyn is not even the main draw of this work, which out of necessity relies more on the story of Mary's more famous contemporary family members, as well as her descendents.
