This is a different take on a love story. Brendon and Harmony have been friends forever but have only ever been friends. Harmony married Moyer who was also friends with Brendon. He is trying to deal with issues from his past, and one of those is feeling like he didn't do enough to save Moyer as he was with him when he died.
Harmony lost Moyer two years ago and has been trying to figure out what is going to be best for her. She has always had Brendon as a friend and knew that she could always count on him. She has gone on a blind date that ended horrible and Brendon was there and helped her feel better about things.
These two people are trying to overcome so much pain that they worry about each other as well. I loved this story and where everyone ends up. You can feel the love for the Connelly brothers as well as the love Harmony and her "sisters" have for each other.
