Where She Went by Gayle Forman

5.0

The compelling urge to have a If I Stay marathon was hugely attributed to this book. I know I like this better than the first one, but I have forgotten how impactful this book was. Diving in with the sole intention to release pent up emotion, it was more bittersweet than emotional. There was not an urge to ugly sob or shed a few tears, but there is a swelling in the chest that filled up gradually when the story progresses. I feel for Mia, I weep for Adam, and there were no villains in this story, just right people, wrong time.
