A Pocketful of Stars by Aisha Bushby
5.0
This book was amazing! I was expecting this book to just be a cute little book that school kids/young adults could read but the emotion that this book evoked was just something entirely different.
A Pocketful of Stars is about family, friendship and personal growth. It touches on the issues of your school years with peers and friends. It teaches us to look deeper than just the surface - because sometimes we judge people because they don't share our same likes and dislike, or they don't agree with us when they want, because they don't look a certain way but if you look closer and deeper than what is being shown then you'll find those similarities between them and yourself.
I can't say much more because I want to keep it spoiler free, but Aisha Bushby definitely knows how to evoke emotions with this story.
